Hello and Welcome!
My name is Brenda and I am the owner and creator here at Help Blogging.
I have been blogging myself for well over 12 years.
When I started An ADD Woman in 2007, I had just quit my job and had very little money to spend on a blog.
As a result, I learned how to do everything myself; I had no other choice.
Why I Started Help Blogging
To save you money.
And to teach you some things, if you want to learn.
Otherwise, I can do them for you, affordably.
It Can Be Confusing Starting a Blog!
Help Blogging is my third blog (at the moment) and I started it because I kept hearing so many women talking about how confused and frustrated they were trying to get their blog started.
They knew what they wanted to blog about, but not the technical aspects:
- How to find a hosting company
- Which blog platform to choose (and what a blog platform was)
- How to install WordPress (should it be WordPress? YES)
- How to choose, install, and customize a theme
- How to choose an email service provider
- How to find and use graphics
- And so very much more!
And not only were they confused, when they did seek help, it was either from others in the same situation, or they found themselves paying high prices for someone to do things for them – that they still didn’t understand!
I don’t do that.
I think it’s wrong.
That, and my genuine desire to help, is why I started Help Blogging.
